What does it do?
This valve is basically an automatic valve that is fitted on a parallel line to reject water lines and, at every start, fully open for a few seconds and allow water in full flow to flush the complete system.
How does it help?
Frequent flushing helps keep the system clean and restricts deposition on the surface of the membrane and chocking of the FRL unit.
While the membrane is the most critical part, a chocked FRL unit is accountable for much more damage to the system in the long run in different ways.
How can we incorporate this into our RO system?
We need to put a bypass valve in RO reject line, as shown in the following picture.
Ask your RO mechanic to do it for you!
What Next!
Now occasionally open this bypass valve for a few seconds and allow the RO system to flush properly.
This occasional flushing will cut your RO maintenance and maintenance bill drastically!
